More About Karsen

With a decade of experience working in community mental health, I have practice providing culturally responsive care and addressing complex behavioral challenges. With a background rooted in serving diverse populations, I have developed expertise in behavioral interventions, helping clients navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation. My approach is grounded in a sense of optimism and empathy, with the knowledge that you are the expert on your own story.

In therapy, I prioritize a collaborative and strengths-based approach, empowering clients to identify solutions and build on their existing resources. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, I integrate structural and solution-focused techniques to address underlying patterns that impact clients’ relationships and well-being. By focusing on actionable steps and fostering resilience, I aim to help clients achieve meaningful progress in a way that aligns with their values and goals.

As a therapist intern, I am committed to deepening my clinical skills under the supervision of Aaron Kolstad, MA, LMFT, ensuring that my practice is both evidence-based and compassionate. I bring a wealth of knowledge from previous roles while embracing the opportunity to expand my therapeutic repertoire.

I see clients at the Maple Grove office and virtually.  I can be reached at karsen@MN-CCC.com
